As a large number of queries arise from researchers regarding the indexing of this journal in scopus and other databases, so this document has been made available to provide the answer to FAQ about indexing of Journal of Integrated Science and Technology.

When a journal is submitted for indexing evaluation to scopus, the scopus team provides a tracking page to publisher for checking the progress of process and acceptance/rejection of respective journal. The tracking link for JIST is

The acceptance for indexing of JIST by scopus may be checked at above link (accepted on 29-Aug-2021 ).

Download the excel file (as shown in the arrow in above image) and check the name of ‘Journal of Integrated Science and Technology’ in the downloaded MS-excel file to confirm the acceptance of journal for indexing by Scopus.

Further, the Scopus content indexing team has initiated the inclusion of JIST journal contents and has already indexed the one issue from year 2021. The scholars having the subscription access to Scopus (for content search – inside scopus) (may be through their institute) can search the name of ‘Journal of Integrated Science and Technology’ (in title source) for the total articles indexed in Scopus. For the reference to scholars that are not having the subscription access to scopus, a PDF print of search results has been provided below as the reference (the search and print was done on 1-feb-2022).

As the Scopus indexing team will include more articles from JIST in the Scopus database, the search results will show all the included articles.

Where is the problem, why the search with ISSN or journal name is not shown in Scopus?

Scholars generally search on the ‘Scopus Preview’ page (without subscription access) and do not find the ISSN/Name of the recently accepted journal. In actual, this page is meant for previewing the ‘matrices’ (citations to articles) of any journal. The Scopus generally releases journal matrices in the month of May or June, so till then the recently accepted journal will not reflect on this page (because journal matrices have not been calculated for that journal). Once the Scopus will provide the matrices (citations profile) for JIST journal, then it will be available for search (with ISSN and Name) on this (preview) page as well (probably after May 2022).

When my article published in JIST will be indexed by Scopus?

The Scopus content indexing support team continuously and periodically indexes the articles, however, we can’t provide an exact time for indexing, it may take 6 months or more/less depending upon when the Scopus team keeps the next round of indexing of respective journal contents.

My article published in JIST has not been indexed in Scopus while other articles from the year/volume are listed in Scopus?
