About the Journal of Disability Studies

Journal of Disability Studies is a scientific, scholarly, and multidisciplinary journal so academician or professionals from various fields - disability studies, sociology, social work, psychology, medical anthropology, health and mental health or any other discipline working on the disability have scope to contribute. Journal also considers the voice of the persons with disability and their family members or caregivers.   

All manuscripts submissions will be screened by the Editors and if found suitable then articles will be reviewed by two peer reviewers which may take cupules of weeks. The contributors will be asked to revise their manuscript based on reviewers’ comments within a specified time. Articles accepted would be copy edited for grammar, punctuation, print style, and format. Manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Disability Studies must not be submitted to any other journal at a time and have not been published or already accepted for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts with lacking originality, serious scientific flaws, or absence of significance of message are rejected. We have strict norms and policy for plagiarism. Plagiarism in any form will not be accepted and simply marks withdrawn for any article. Papers cannot be withdrawn after final acceptance.
